Joining KISS in the summer of 1980, the band commissioned Eraldo Carugati, the artist behind the iconic 1978 KISS solo LP portraits, to create a unique portrait of Eric. Though Eric never recorded a solo LP while in KISS, this very portrait became the cover for his posthumous solo album, "Rockology," released in the fall of 2023.

Highlighted in Eric's distinctive "rust" color, the portrait beautifully captures both his fox persona and his warm-hearted nature. It's noteworthy that the original painting is under the care of Eric's family, who rightfully own the imagery associated with it.
